Up for your consideration is an antique silver bowl made in the Austrian Hungarian Empire, the mark on it indicates this piece to be made between 1810 and 1814. The piece is hand made and signed by a CS. It measures 14 1/2 x 11 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches. It weighs 610 grams. Please note that we did not use the term sterling as that is a standard from the UK and has to be at least .925 of silver. In this case the silver is .813 of silver. It is also named Continental Silver. Most of surrounding the Austrian Hungarian empire use .800 silver. In this case the empire marks indicates .813. Please zoom at the pictures and visit our store.
