Hey folks,
By request we put this set together for those looking to adjust their key action and leveling without buying thousands of punchings.
This set contains 100 pieces each of five well-chosen thicknesses for a total of 500 pieces.
The sizes are typically:
0.030
0.020
0.012
0.007
0.005
They are all 1/2″ OD
Color and size may vary.
With these you should have enough punchings to re-level your keys on the balance rail assuming they do not need a major overhaul.
If they do need major adjustment or you are performing a complete replacement then please check out our larger sets.
NOTE: For some Fender Rhodes users these are also the right size for the front rail if you have plastic keys with thin wood centers.
To check simply remove the aluminum rail over the keys and lift up some keys.
If the balance rail felts are the same size as the front rail then these will work for both.
